Proof Books

About two weeks after your session with Tammi Nowack Photography, you'll receive the passcode to your online gallery and all the ordering information you'll need to make your final image selections. Among your after session "package" will be a proof book of images from your session.
Proof books are a great tool to help you visual what your prints will actually look like after they're printed and a fun piece to show to your friends and fam. Your proof book is "on loan" to you, but if you meet the minimum order requirement, it's yours to keep and makes for a great keepsake of your session. And with it's sturdy binding, linen-textured pages and hard cover it's a great little album to lay out for display in your home or office.
Call or email today to set up your appointment and you can have one of these hot little proof books in your hands in no time!

Urban Ballerina

I've often said that I have more ideas in my head than I could fulfill in a lifetime. Well, today I was so excited that I got to execute one of my ideas I've had for awhile and do a fun photoshoot with "K" who agreed to be my urban ballerina (I put out the request for a model about a month back).
K and her friend M came with a backseat full of tutus, leotards and pointe shoes and we had a great time tromping around downtown finding cool spots to take photos. I don't know many high school girls who have the self-confidence to be walking around downtown on a busy Saturday morning in a leotard and tutu, but I think you'll agree that K's confidence and beauty are quite evident in these photos!

Enjoy! And as always, click to view them larger.....

I think this photo has an interesting composition. In fact, I think at first glance, it's difficult to tell what it is. It almost looks like a polaroid, or a canvas just laying against a black backdrop....
So I thought I'd crop it differently so you can see the full view. It's a parking garage (one of my new favorite spots to do photoshoots). I'm standing in the covered parking, shooting through the "window" to K who's outside. Do you see it? Did you see it in the first photo? Which one do you like best?

This one is one of my favorites because I think it looks like a painting....
A more candid shot...

And here's K with her beautiful friend M who came along for the shoot. I love it when friends come to shoots - it makes it more fun and relaxed for the model to have their friend laughing at them while they pose for photos. LOL :)

Here's my assistant Casey (if you book a shoot with me, he'll most likely be there). Casey helps with posing, clothing ensembles, scouting locations, etc. etc. and he rocks! Here he was describing a pose/idea to me.....
Here he is laughing, trying to get away, and calling me a name when I told him that I was taking his photo and was definitely going to post in on the blog. :)

Another favorite of mine....
And yet ANOTHER....favorite. :)
Hope you like 'em K.....I'll be in touch soon with info re: your proofs and online gallery!

Until next time....

Senior Sneak Peek

One of the great things about being a strictly on-location photographer is the huge variety of settings and locations that we can offer clients. I have a slew of "stand-by" locations that I use, but I'm also always on the lookout for new places and a fresh perspective. Seniors especially are a lot of fun to try out new locations on and it's pretty much a guarantee that your senior portraits won't look like anyone else's!

Yesterday's senior "C" got the benefit of TWO brand new locations that guarantee her friends won't have photos like hers!

Thanks for a fun day yesterday "C"...hope you like 'em! :)

I had to throw in this photo of the giant spider that jumped out at me with his fangs bared.
Actually, that didn't happen at all - I'm not actually even sure it was alive, but I did almost touch it with my hand. *shiver*
Ya never know what surprises you might come across during a session!

Until next time....

Baby Girl

Here's a Sneak Peek for the M Family and their precious brand new baby girl "S" that we photographed yesterday morning. This sweet babe was SO good for us - she slept like a champ and calmly obliged to being transferred, folded, scrunched, wrapped, snuggled and otherwise jostled around for two hours.
Mom and Dad are completely smitten with her...as they should be, because she is just perfect! Thanks for letting me into your home to capture your daughter at this fresh and beautiful time in her life and yours - it was a joy getting to know all of you.

Congratulations and enjoy your Sneak Peek! :)
